Mike Lock is a Vice President in the Machine Learning group at AQR Capital Management. Before entering finance, Mike held a postdoctoral fellowship in mathematics shared between the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) in Berkeley and the University of Texas. He has published a number of papers in top research journals across the fields of differential geometry, geometric analysis and complex geometry. Mike earned a B.A. in mathematics from Columbia University and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin.
