Nick Jain is the founder of Citizen Asset Management, a fundamental investment firm that leverages data science and advanced analytics to conduct fundamental diligence.
Prior to founding Citizen, Nick was an analyst at Greenlight Capital, a value-oriented long/short investment firm, a private equity associate at Bain Capital, a strategy consultant at McKinsey and a research assistant at the MIT Poverty Action Lab, where he designed and analyzed large-scale controlled trials to increase the election rates of rates of women in rural villages in India.
Nick holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar, and a Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College, where he graduated summa cum laude with a triple major in mathematics, physics and economics. Over the course of his career, Nick has developed and deployed multiple investment strategies that leverage modern technology and analytics to do better fundamental investing, including an "Option Theoretic Approach to Capital Structure Arbitrage in Distressed Companies," which was a finalist at the inaugural Harvard Business School Investment Strategy competition. He is based in New York.
