Simon Rodda is the strategy lead for the institutional financial markets business at Dow Jones, providing insights and market intelligence to the product strategy teams.
He specializes in the interaction of news and the institutional financial markets, helping Dow Jones to deliver the greatest value to our trading and asset manager clients from our world-class news. With over 40 years of industry experience, both in the hot-house of a real-time news room and working with clients, data scientists and technologists to build best-in-class solutions, he brings informed insights to the challenges facing clients today.
Simon has been with Dow Jones since 2001, working in a number of product management, product marketing and product development roles. Prior to this, he managed a news partnership at the then Thomson Corporation (now part of Refinitiv) with Dow Jones. Before stepping over to the business side of news, Simon spent nine years as managing editor of a UK stock market news service.
